Top 5 Not-So Secret Success Tips

For Performers

1. If you change the way you think, you can change your life.
People act and react based on their perceptions of reality. They act according to their assumptions and usually get what they expect. What if you believed beyond a shadow of a doubt that having the life you want would be CERTAIN if you took persistent action, kept polishing your craft and had a positive mental outlook? - How might you do things differently than you do now?

2. Create a vision for your life and set a solid plan to get there.
When we have concrete and measurable steps to achieve a goal we start taking charge of our life and career. We have steps we can take, we can tell what isn't working and when life throws a curve we can adjust the plan!

3. Learn to think and act like the OWNER of your Performing Business!
I have worked with so many performers who glaze over when they thing about "business!" They think "I'm an actor...I only know acting...what do I know about marketing?" Let me le you in on a little secret...A PERFORMER'S GREATEST GIFT IS CREATIVITY - but when applying creativity to other areas of their life... they GO BLANK! Business principles and how to create a great acting business is easy to learn...and YOU have a SECRET WEAPON...BEING CREATIVE!

4. Build relationships with people and REALLY CARE!
People love to hire people that they know and like. Genuine, talented, terrific people. Be who you are and be genuinely interested in others. Care. Be one of those people that everyone wants to work with.

5. Don't just wait for things to happen - set up your environment so that it pulls you forward.
You know how it is easier to get to the gym first thing in the morning if you lay out your clothes the night before and have someone knocking on your door at 6 am to go with you? Guess what? You can do that same type of thing in every area of your life. You can create an environment that PULLS you forward instead of chasing after what you want.
